Tim McGraw will bring 20 years worth of chart-topping hits with him when he takes the stage at the 2015 Taste of Country Music Festival.

McGraw came to Nashville in 1989, arriving in town the day his hero, Keith Whitley, died. It was a slow start for the future superstar; his self-titled debut album in 1990 yielded no hits despite four singles, but he struck gold (and platinum) with his sophomore album, 'Not a Moment Too Soon,' which was the best-selling country album of 1994 on the strength of hits like 'Indian Outlaw,' 'Don't Take the Girl' and 'Down on the Farm.'

From there McGraw has built one of the biggest careers in country music history, scoring 25 No. 1 hits. The superstar has a keen ear for lighthearted radio fare like 'I Like It, I Love It,' 'Do You Want Fries With That' and 'Southern Girl,' but he's also cut some of the most important and challenging songs of any country artist of his generation, including 'Live Like You Were Dying,' 'Red Rag Top' and 'If You're Reading This.'

Now 47 -- an age where most stars begin to fade from country radio -- McGraw instead re-invented himself yet again with his latest album, 'Sundown Heaven Town,' which features cutting-edge contemporary fare like 'Lookin' for That Girl,' but also offered up one of the most achingly beautiful ballads of his career with 'Meanwhile Back at Mama's,' a duet with his wife, Faith Hill.

McGraw will headline the first night of this year's Taste of Country Music Festival, which runs from June 12-14 at Hunter Mountain in New York.
