Two Cooperstown business owners who had an altercation last week were involved in a domestic issue that had nothing to do with business, according to Cooperstown Police. Brian Paterno was arrested yesterday for burglary and attempted assault after he allegedly entered a business on Pioneer Street on Sunday and punched the owner four times. The victim’s name is not being released to protect his privacy, according to the Police Chief. Paterno is scheduled to appear at the Otsego Town Court tomorrow.
