The Franklin Stage Company was awarded a $40,000 workforce investment grant from the New York State Regional Economic Development Council. According to a news release the funds will support wages for executive leadership for one year. The company is Delaware County’s only fully professional theater and also provides training opportunities to youth from area high schools and colleges through its intern program, which teaches hands-on technical skills and offers young people the opportunity to work side by side with theater professionals.
