Grammy Nominated Guitarist, Gil Parris To Perform At Foothills

Foothills Performing Arts Center on Market Street in Oneonta will play host to American Grammy-nominated rock, blues, jazz, and pop guitarist Gil Parris this Sunday, October 16th at 7 p.m.

Gil Parris welcomes Jessie Lambiase as his guest singer. You will not be disappointed.  Also along with him, his dear friend singer/songwriter KJ Denhert will bring her incredible energy to the stage and make you want to dance the night away as she brings her songs to life along with her renditions of some very popular cover songs.

Last but not least, the ever talented newcomer, Rosie Dias will be opening for them with the help of her guitarist Drew Mishoe, drummer Ray LeVier and bass guitarist Kip Sophos.

Matt King will be accompanying Gil Parris and KJ Denhert on piano and Ray LeVier will be on drums for all 3 bands. Kip Sophos will be playing bass guitar for Gil Parris and Rosie Dias while Mamadou Ba will be playing bass guitar for KJ Denhert.

Gil Parris has released six solo albums and played collaboratively with over 20 groups and/or artists.  He's known for his unique blending of blues, jazz, rock and smooth jazz.  Parris has toured both as a solo artist and alongside major artists including Dr. John, Blood, Sweat & Tears, Diane Schurr, David Mann, Billy Vera, Bobby Caldwell, and Toni Braxton.
