Hartwick College will celebrate the Class of 2014 this Saturday during the College's 83rd Commencement exercises.

Faculty, staff, family, and friends will gather at 11:30 a.m. on Elmore Field to recognize graduates' accomplishments throughout their time spent at Hartwick College.

The weekend-long celebration will begin with the President's Farewell Dinner with the senior class on Thursday evening, followed by the Senior Art Exhibition Reception and Nurses Pinning Ceremony on Friday afternoon. The Art Reception will take place at 1 p.m. in the Foreman Gallery and the Nurses Pinning Ceremony will take place at 1:30 p.m. in Lambros Arena, Binder Physical Education Center.

The Class of 2014 will convene at 5 p.m. Friday for this year's Baccalaureate ceremony at Foothills Performing Arts & Civic Center.

On Saturday this year's 377 degree candidates will undertake the transition from Hartwick student to Hartwick alumni. Hartwick College's 2014 Commencement speaker will be Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Liberty Mutual Insurance Group David Long, a member of the Hartwick College Class of 1983.
