An important movie, especially for teens is coming up on Tuesday, September 19th, at SUNY Oneonta, where there will be a screening and a panel discussion of the movie, "Paper Tigers."

Paper Tigers focuses on six students throughout a year in the life of Lincoln High School in Walla Walla, Washington. The students of Lincoln High School act out in various ways, including substance abuse, behavioral issues, and absenteeism. Once Lincoln's principal learns more about Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE's), the school drastically alters the disciplinary practices in place. Through dealing with all of the traumatic issues in the students lives, healing and support shine through at Lincoln High School.

Paper Tigers will start at 6:00 PM in Hunt Union at SUNY Oneonta (108 Ravine Parkway, Oneonta). A post-movie discussion will follow the film. For more information, please contact Blake Stensland at (607)432-0001 or at bstensland@familyrn.org!
