Oneonta High School's Lady Yellowjackets defeated Marcellus to win the New York State Class B Soccer Championship.

With Jada Sargeant of Marcellus scoring in the fourth minute, Oneonta were down 1-0 at the half. Taryn Moore scored the equalize in the forty-seventh minute, with Madison Miller giving Oneonta the lead with only a minute left in the game.

This is the first time Oneonta High School girls soccer have claimed a state championship.

Girls soccer joins the '97 and '98 girls basketball teams, the '99 boys soccer squad and the 2012 baseball team as the only New York State public high school athletic association champs in OHS history.
