UPDATE: Main Street, Oneonta Paving

According to the City of Oneonta, the Main Street re-paving project is getting postponed due to expected rain.  There is no start date at this time.  When it does begin, the street will be closed during the work.  No need to worry as the work will be taking place at night - 8 p.m. to 7 a.m.  The portion paved will be from Chestnut Street to Elm Street, including side street tie-ins. 

During this paving project, there will be no parking allowed on Main Street from Chestnut Street to Elm Street between the hours of 6 p.m. and 7 a.m (in work zone).   In the event that the work is delayed due to weather, it will continue the next night as weather allows.
