The 25th annual XPoNential Music Festival brought a diverse roster of artists to the stage on July 27-July 29. Featuring big names alongside up-and-coming acts across the country, alt-country, Americana and folk formats, the three-day event took place at the Camden Waterfront in Camden, N.J. Readers can flip through the gallery above to check out some highlights from the weekend.

Performances on Friday (July 27) featured The Boot favorite Lukas Nelson & Promise of the Real, alongside psychedelic folk-rock group Bermuda Triangle and many other artists. Scottish rocker (and former Talking Heads member) David Byrne served as the evening's headliner, together with electronic duo Sylvan Esso.

On Saturday (July 28), the fun continued with performances from singer-songwriters such as Natalie Prass and Courtney Marie Andrews. Alt-country fans were in for a treat as well, as listener favorites Margo Price and Sturgill Simpson both played sets. Along with the War on Drugs and Fantastic Negrito, Simpson co-headlined the show with the Preservation Hall Jazz Band.

Sunday's (July 29) lineup closed out with a bang, including performances from the roots group the Blind Boys of Alabama, rockabilly artist JD McPherson and alt-country/folk headliners Josh Ritter & the Royal City Band.

Each year, the XPoNential Music Festival seeks to spotlight an assembly of both established and new artists heard on the Philadelphia public radio station WXPN 88.5FM.
