Seward Celebrates History Day In Cooperstown

According to State Senator James L. Seward's Office, the senator was in Cooperstown on Tuesday to review student projects submitted for the New York State competition in the the National History Day contest. Statewide approximately 150 schools and more than 10,000 students in grades six through twelve participate in the annual contest. Regional winners travel to Cooperstown, home of the Fenimore Art Museum, to present their projects for statewide honors.This year’s National History Day theme is Conflict and Compromise in History.
