On the morning of Thursday May 29th, Oneonta police served a no knock search warrant at 42 Cliff Street in the City of Oneonta following an ongoing investigation into illegal narcotic trafficking.

The following three individuals were arrested and charged:

Misty L. Cintron, 33, of Oneonta. Charge: criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a class B felony.
Desmond M. Bell, 28, of Oneonta. Charge: criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a class B felony.
Brandon J. Hendricks, 40, of Oneonta. Charged: criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, a class B felony.

Seized in the search warrant were 43 bags of heroin packaged for sale and 9 grams of heroin not packaged for sale with a total street value of over $7,000. Additionally, a large amount of packaging material, several hypodermic needles and over $1,200 in cash were also seized.

All three defendants were held pending arraignment in the city of Oneonta Court. If convicted, the maximum sentence for criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third degree is 9 years incarceration.

The City of Oneonta Police Department Special Response Team was assisted by the Otsego County Sheriff Department's K9 unit.
