On July 5th the 30th Annual Walton Booster Club Car Show and Cruise will take place at the Delaware County Fairgrounds in Walton with activities from 10am until 6pm. The proceeds for this event benefit Walton Youth Sports (including football, field hockey, wrestling, basketball and soccer for Walton youths up to 7th grade). .After what will already be a full day it's time for the cruise down Delaware St. (Cruisin' Walton's Main Drag) and then to the Walton Bus Garage for some music from The Hillbilly Junkyard Band from 6-8pm.

Activities at the fairgrounds for the day include of course a classic car show with judging and trophies (provided by West End Collision), Music, all day garden tractor pulls with The Hillbilly Hookers and all day kids carnival games by The Townsend PTA.

While the big kids play with their toys the small kids will be having their fun with an Open Class Pinewood Derby Tournament , a NEW model car contest for ages 12 and under, classes will include Lego cars, pinewood derby cars or model cars the kids made. The judging will start at 3pm. New this year will be Remote Control Racing for all ages for $2 per race. There will also be vendors selling food and wares throughout the day.

Admission for the day is still just $4 per person with kids under 10 FREE. $7 per show vehicle and $7 for car corral. Come on out and enjoy a day of community for a great cause.
