Flu season is almost upon us believe it or not.  It's hard to grasp considering the weather has been unseasonably warm for a while but like it or not, it's coming and along with it, down and out misery if you catch the flu.

The New York State Department of Health recommends that anyone 6 months of age and older should get the flu shot, especially those at risk from complications to due the flu.   Which leads me to the question to get the flu shot or not?  Please answer the poll below...

If you do decide to get a flu shot, Bassett Medical Center is offering vaccination clinics from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on October 24, November 14 & 28, and December 12 in the Clinic Building in Cooperstown, on the 2nd floor in Primary Care. You don't need to make an appointment, either bring your insurance card or pay $40.
