2 Are Charged in Walton Burglary

According to Delaware County Sheriff Craig DuMond, two Walton residents were arrested in connection with a burglary in the Town of Walton last week.  40 year-old Robert Smith and 35 year-old Terriann Connolly, both of Walton are charged with one count of burglary in the third degree, a class D felony, and one count of petit larceny. Smith was also charged with one count of criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree.  Due to New York State Bail Reform legislation, both were released on appearance tickets directing them to appear in the Town of Walton Court on a later date. Deputies and Investigators report that surveillance photographs provided by the victim were instrumental in identifying Smith and Connolly and their vehicle.
