ANDES HOTEL WELCOMES JILL CAREY MICHAELS

On Friday October 10th from 7-10pm The Andes Hotel will be hosting singer, songwriter and radio host of American Storysongs Jill Carey Michaels to their stage. Jill's music and life have taken her from L.A. to NYC and she's inviting everyone in attendance to come along. Her autobiographical and often humorous songs "Center around the adventures she has encountered."

Jill will share her thought provoking story-songs such as "My First Car" about a $300 purchase and "Nice Girl",  the story of a girl, a Manhattan apartment and a promise. Her wit and humor shine through the lyrics and musical accompaniment of Sarah Ells on banjo and vocals as well as world renowned percussionists Ed Michaels.

Originally from Philadelphia, Jill moved to NYC and became immersed in the east village music scene. Last year, Jill’s musical one woman show “Nice Girl” debuted in NYC to delightful reviews. Audiences can hear Jill on her NPR affiliate radio show, American Storysongs.”
