Over 100 animals were seized Saturday at a Garrattsville residence. According to the Otsego County Sheriff's Office, the raid was the result of an investigation and the Susquehanna Animal Shelter worked with the Otsego County Sheriff’s Department to take custody of the animals which were found living in filthy conditions with no food or water. In a Facebook post Sheriff Richard Devlin thanked the shelter for their hard work and assistance. He also thanked the public for their outpouring of support offering hay, feed and homes for the animals.
