April 21 Update on COVID-19 Cases in Chenango, Delaware, and Otsego Counties

COVID-19 confirmed cases are climbing in Chenango, Delaware and Otsego Counties. As of yesterday afternoon, Delaware County Public Health reported a total of 62 confirmed coronavirus cases which means they had no new cases yesterday. In Chenango County, cases held for second day at 78 as well.  Otsego County Department of Health is reporting 55 total COVID-19 cases with a total of 4 deaths in the county from coronavirus.

According to the NYS Department of Health, there are currently 247,512 cases of confirmed COVID-19 in the state with 4726 new cases confirmed statewide yesterday.

Please note that the number of confirmed cases does not reflect the actual number of cases because of limited testing for the virus.
