The Catskill Symphony orchestras biggest fundraiser of the year is at 4 p.m. Sunday at SUNY Oneonta. Music Director for the Symphony, Charles Snyder says as part of the Cabaret Concert featuring Cherish The Ladies, there is Maestro Madness with 3 guest conductors.

"Whoever raises the most money gets to conduct 'Stars and Stripes Forever' at the end of the concert," Snyder said. "We have tryouts, then people can vote for the candidates during the intermission if they haven't already done so, and each vote is a dollar. We've had a lot of fun with it over the year."

Vying to be the winner of the baton this year are Common Council member Mike Lynch, City of Oneonta Fire Department Captain Jim Maloney, and Townsquare Media Market Manager George Wells. You can purchase tickets at catskillsymphony.net.
