Three people were arrested recently on sealed indictment warrants issued by the Delaware County Court. The arrests were made as part of the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office ongoing effort to identify and prosecute illicit drug dealers in Delaware County.

42 year old Amy Mills of Franklin was charged with two counts of 5th degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. Mills allegedly sold prescription medications on at least two occasions. Mills was arraigned in the Delaware County Court and remanded to the Delaware County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000.00 cash bail.

39 year old Stephanie Townsend of Sidney was charged with three counts of 5th degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. 45 year old James Townsend, also of Sidney, was charged with one count of 5th degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. Both suspects were arraigned in the Delaware County Court and remanded to the Delaware County Correctional Facility with no bail.

Deputies were assisted in the investigation and arrests by the Village of Sidney Police Department.
