Today, Sheriff Craig DuMond announced the arrest of 25-year-old Willie L. Walker III of Fishes Eddy, NY on a sealed indictment warrant handed down by the Delaware County Grand Jury. Walker was arrested on Thursday November 14th following a narcotics sales investigation conducted by Deputies and members of the Criminal Investigation Division.

Walker appeared in front of Delaware County Court Judge Richard D. Northrup Jr. on Friday, November 15th for unsealing of the indictment, and arraignment. Walker has been charged with three counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance in the fourth degree, all Class C felonies.

Judge Northrup ordered Walker remanded to the Delaware County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000.00 bail, and pending further action by the Court. This arrest was the result and culmination of a month’s long joint investigation by the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office and Village of Hancock Police Department into the sales of narcotics and prescription medication in the Village and Town of Hancock. It is alleged that Walker sold prescription medication from his Fishes Eddy Residence as well as the Village of Hancock.
