Delaware County Woman Arrested After Car Accident

State police at Margaretville arrested Shannon Almon, 25, of Hobart on Wednesday for driving while intoxicated.

The arrest resulted from a motor vehicle crash investigation on Dry Brook Road in Middletown. Police claim Almon was intoxicated when she drove off the roadway and down an embankment. Her passenger was transported to Margaretville Hospital with minor injuries.

Almon will return to Town of Middletown court on February 13th.
