Five Otsego Corrections Officers Graduate From Academy

Five Otsego County Corrections Officers were among a class of 16 graduating Friday from the Basic Corrections Academy at the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office. According to the Otsego County Sheriff's Office, officers Mark Backus, Amanda Polin, Amanda Rezek, Nicholas Short and Justina Wilkens are now Certified Corrections Officers joining fellow officers from Delaware, Sullivan, Tioga and Tompkins Counties. The Basic Corrections Academy is one of several course offerings from the Delaware County Law Enforcement Academy which began operating in the early 1990's.
