Greene Fifth Grader Honored For Fundraising Work

A Greene Central School fifth-grader has been recognized by the American Heart Association for her fundraising efforts. According to Greene Central School officials, Savannah Norwalk collected over $1,500 for the Jump Rope For Heart event making it the third year in a row that Savannah was the top fundraiser at Greene Intermediate School. According to the associations Savannah’s aunt is a stroke survivor and Savannah also raises money in honor of her great aunt and grandmother.
