Hartwick College’s Nursing department is the beneficiary of a $300,000 grant which will allow construction of a hospital suite simulator. According to a press release, the college the suite to be built in Smith Hall will allow students to learn through a “hands on” experience rather than “observation only” training. The money from The Clark Foundation will not only help the college better prepare its nursing students to enter the field but also allow 10 more students to participate in the nursing training program.
