A jogger running on County Road 36 and Dimmick Mountain Road near Roxbury was stuck and injured Sunday morning. According to New York State Police at Margaretville, the Roxbury Town Constable, EMS and Fire Units were dispatched to the scene.

The driver of the vehicle that struck the pedestrian, told troopers that the jogger, identified as 42-year-old Cory Davis of Fleischmanns, NY, was running with his back to traffic and then turned left directly in front of the car. The driver stopped to assist the jogger until emergency responders arrived. Davis sustained injuries to his head and lower body and was airlifted to Westchester Medical Center for treatment. He is listed in stable condition. The accident remains under investigation.
