As life begins to return to normal, Kenny Chesney is getting ready to hit the road full-tilt next year.

When Kenny Chesney postponed his Chilaxification Tour earlier this year, while we were all bummed, we got it. Even as things were opening up, there was still some uncertainty regarding large-scale stadium concerts like Kenny's. Now that the uncertainty is waning, Kenny has announced his Here and Now 2022 Tour including stops at MetLife Stadium Saturday, August 13th, 2022, and Gillette Stadium Friday, August 26th, and Saturday, August 27th, 2022.

In the announcement today Kenny said:

“With every city, county and state having their own protocols, with capacity numbers shifting every day, I didn’t want to announce until we knew we could come full on... strong... and without a care in the world. I always want to be that place where you can let go, feel safe and have the time of the summer. After a lot of work on a lot of people’s parts, a lot of cooperation from the folks at the stadiums, the places we’re coming and the teams we share those venues with, we’re ready to announce the Here And Now 2022 Stadium Tour.”

In the months ahead we will have more details on these shows, including the rest of the lineup and how to get your tickets! If you already have tickets for the tour dates that were canceled last summer, those tickets will be honored for the same seats on the new dates! If you have tickets and cannot attend the new dates, refunds will be available at the point of purchase for the next 30 days.

Last year and this year, summer just won;t be the same without that Kenny Chesney concert date on your calendar. But, at lease now we can take comfort that we will get to see Kenny and all of our friends in No Shoes Nation next summer! And now we know 'How Forever Feels!'

LOOK: Here are the 50 best beach towns in America

Every beach town has its share of pluses and minuses, which got us thinking about what makes a beach town the best one to live in. To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.
