National Doughnut Day! …Get A Free Doughnut!

National Doughnut Day Is June 1st. Visit any participating krispy kreme or Dunkin Doughnut locations and receive a free doughnut with the purchase of a drink.

To celebrate the occasion I have composed a list of a few qualifying awesome/weird doughnuts.

And first off....bacon

The Maple Bacon Bar from Voodoo Doughnut is exactly what it sounds like. A Maple bacon doughnut...and probably delicious. I can't say so for myself,  I've never had one.....but it sounds completely amazing. Voodoo Doughnut has some pretty unique flavors and stylings of doughnuts.

The Strawberry Fields Doughnut from Psycho Doughnuts looks like i would devour it in about 10 seconds flat. It has strawberry icing, frozen strawberries and chocolate chips...all topped with a stick of Strawberry Pocky (Pocky is a sweet Japanese snack food that comes in a multitude of flavors. It is delicious)

And this one is just plain weird....

The Dry Pork And Seaweed from Dunkin Doughnuts is available in china. Seaweed isn't that bad, they wrap sushi with it...but this is just over the top in the weirdness area.
