Tuesday morning on the XL Morning Show, Danica Jamison, President & CEO of Greater Gallatin United Way, told Dave & Ally about some resources that are available for people who need them during our current COVID-19 outbreak.

In response to the coronavirus crisis, Greater Gallatin United Way (GGUW) and Bozeman Area Community Foundation (BACF) have launched a community response fund to address the pressing needs of individuals and the organizations serving them in Southwest Montana. Currently they have over $200,000 in this fund.

The Response Fund will provide flexible resources to organizations working with individuals and populations disproportionately impacted by coronavirus and the health and economic consequences of this outbreak.

GGUW and BACF are actively working with community leaders, local government, public health and emergency management officials to monitor and respond to the immediate and evolving needs of the region resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.

If you find yourself in need of resources during this tough time, you can call 2-1-1.

Trained call specialists are on hand to provide crisis and suicide counseling and intervention, access to sexual assault intervention and counseling, as well as information and referrals to community resources, including:

  • Food, Shelter & Clothing Assistance
