Some of those conditions include cancer, diabetes, some lung diseases, severe obesity and pregnancy.

Cuomo says no local health department should accept appointments until the vaccine allocation amounts are known and no earlier than February 14.  The local departments will determine how, where and when to schedule appointments in their jurisdictions.

The Chenango County Health Department put out a statement on social media informing residents that they do not have a waiting list for those under the age of 65 with comorbidities or underlying health conditions at this time.  They’re telling residents not to call or email them to be put on a list unless they are in the 1a or 1b priority groups at this time.
