When school buses hit the road this fall they will be able to carry cameras attached to the stop arms on the outside of the bus so that there is video evidence of those failing to stop for the bus. According to Governor Cuomo's office, the law authorizing the cameras was signed into law on Tuesday. New York State research finds that in a 180-day school year someone passes a stopped school bus over 150,000 times. First-time offenders could receive a minimum $250 five plus five points on your driver license.
