Oneonta Business Holiday Decorating Contest

The Fourth Annual Oneonta Business Holiday Decorating Contest is almost here! Participants from all over Oneonta will be competing for some major cash prizes.Anyone can enter the contest, clubs and organizations too, and there is no entrance fee. Locations of entries must be in the business district of Oneonta, i.e., highways leading into the city, the downtown streets, and surrounding areas. All entries must be within the city limits of Oneonta. Registration cannot be accepted for entries located at residential homes.

Participants must complete a registration form and submit it to the Oneonta Business Association no later than Wednesday, November 30th. Entry locations must be in the business district of Oneonta. Locations can include storefronts, store windows, buildings, grounds, city entrances, sides of highways and streets (not on the right of way). Registration for residential homes will not be accepted. All entries will be scored by a panel of out-of-county judges to insure a fair contest. The winners will be announced on December 10th, along with a short ceremony to celebrate. Winners can go home with up to $500!
