The Greater Oneonta Historical Society will be holding its Annual Benefit Auction this Friday, November 4th at the Oneonta Elks Lodge with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. There will be hundreds of items in the live and silent auctions. Townsquare Media's Chuck D’Imperio will be the guest auctioneer for the live auction. Admission is free; and the Elks Lodge will have drinks and snacks available for purchase.

Listen below as WZOZ's Leslie Ann talks with GOHS's Bob Brzozowski, giving details on the auction and various items offered.

The auction’s success depends upon lots of bidders and lots of interesting items to bid on. Keep GOHS in mind if you are downsizing or cleaning out the attic. We are looking for quality antiques, art, jewelry, wines, and more. Gift certificates and tickets to events are also popular auction items. If you have donations or need information, call Loraine Tyler at 433-2452 or Jane Bachman at 431-9509.
