Otsego Pride Alliance will be presenting the third annual Pridefest this Saturday.  This celebration marks the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising which took place on June 28, 1969. The Stonewall Uprising lead to the birth of the modern LGBTQIA+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/Questioning, Intersex, Asexual, Plus) rights movement.

Pridefest kicks off with a Pride Parade through downtown Oneonta at 2:00 p.m. which will lead into a family friendly festival in Neahwa Park featuring entertainment, merchandise and food vendors, kids activities, family-friendly drag performers, and more.  The day will be capped off with fireworks donated by First Night Oneonta at 8:30 p.m.
