Oneonta's Hometown 4th of July Celebration actually begins on Friday, July 3rd at 7pm with the showing of a free skateboarding movie, "Propeller" courtesy of VANS, Foothills and Bridge to Skate. This movie will be shown in the upstairs theater of the brick building at Foothills Performing Arts Center.  There will also be a free pizza party and local skaters meet n' greet at this event. On Saturday, July 4th in Neahwa Park, Oneonta, the day kicks off at 8:30am with the TUFF eNUFF 5K Challenge, an obstacle race.   Following that is a fabulous July 4th parade down Main Street at noon.  Then it's a full afternoon and evening in Neahwa Park with tons of entertainment, food, free Oneonta Outlaws baseball, sporting events, a skateboarding competition, classic car show, and of course fireworks at 10pm.  The full schedule is at Hometown4th.com.
