On Friday, April 3, Representative Antonio Delgado (NY-19) held his third telephone town hall to reach folks across all eleven counties in NY-19 for a conversation about how our region is experiencing the Coronavirus pandemic.

After holding 35 in-person town halls, Rep. Delgado announced he will hold telephone town halls every week during the Coronavirus health emergency to hear from the community, answer questions, and connect folks with resources and local experts. His first two telephone town halls were held on March 20 and March 27.

Rep. Delgado’s third town hall featured panelists: New York State Assemblyman Chris Tague, Dan Rickman, the Deputy District Director of the Small Business Administration Syracuse District Office, and Dr. Carol Smith, M.D., M.P.H., Ulster County Commissioner of the Department of Health and Mental Health.

Community questions focused on a variety of concerns including supporting small daily farmers, resources for small businesses in the bipartisan CARES Act, provisions to support additional hospital beds and PPE for health care workers, accessing unemployment insurance, and more.
