Ronnie Dunn's next solo album is a "passion project," the country star says: an album of covers of the songs that have been the soundtrack of his life. Re-Dunn features George Strait's "Amarillo By Morning," the Hollies' "Long Cool Woman (in a Black Dress)" and more.

Readers can press play above to hear Dunn's take on "Amarillo By Morning," and can hear "Long Cool Woman" below. They're two of the 24 songs on Re-Dunn, which also includes the Eagles' "Peaceful Easy Feeling," Van Morrison's "Brown Eyed Girl" and more. A full track listing is below.

"If you put together a group of songs that define the soundtrack of my life, this is what it would look like,” Dunn says in a press release.

Re-Dunn is due out in 2020, but fans will get to hear some of its tracks ahead of time: According to the release, Dunn will share two new songs, one country and one rock, each month leading up to the full record's debut.

Re-Dunn is available for pre-order now. It's Dunn's fourth solo album, his newest since 2016's Tattooed Heart.

Dunn has been spending 2019 focused on his duo with Kix Brooks, Brooks & Dunn. The '90s country superstars released a new album, Reboot, in April, and will be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in October.
