We checked in with our own Oneonta National Weather Service Observer, Dave Mattice  who has this to say about the weather this weekend:

"The European model shows the I-88 corridor is right in the middle of the area that can potentially receive 18”- 24" of snowfall from Saturday afternoon through late day Sunday. As the storm pulls away northeasterly, it will draw frigid air into the area with strong winds. Temps as low as -15 degrees are possible, without windchill!"
