Walton to Decide on School Capital Project

Voters in the Walton Central School District are being asked to approve an $8.2 million capital project during a special election taking place this Tuesday at the bus garage between 12:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. The plan includes work at the main Stockton Ave. campus as well as Townsend Elementary and officials say it is structured to pay for 100% of costs without a tax increase plus it will save taxpayers around $70,000 a year.
